Course prerequisites: Prior to attending an ACLS or PALS course, you need to have a basic understanding of ECG. An online self-assessment will also be required prior to attending ACLS and PALS. This assessment will test your rhythm identification, pharmacology and some practical application. More information will be provided upon registration.

AHA BLS HeartCode® Skills Only

Skills Session Cost: $55.00 (Online Portion Not Included)

This course is AHA accredited and you will receive the same course completion card after completing your skills as you would from taking a traditional instructor-led class. BLS HeartCode® Part 1 is NOT included in the $50 purchase of a skills session. Must purchase and complete Part 1 on your own or add it as an Add On. Go to shopcpr.heart.org and register for Heartcode BLS to register for this course on your own.

There are 3 parts to BLS Online HeartCode:
1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online modules, simulation and written test completion

2. Parts 2 & 3 will be completed in our education center, skills practice and skills testing. We guarantee a relaxed, friendly learning environment.

HeartCode® BLS uses the latest eSimulation technology to enable students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities, this course teaches BLS knowledge and skills. This method of learning provides training consistency, adaptability to different learning styles, and flexibility for the student’s and employer’s time. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. Blended training also supports the need for hands-on learning of psychomotor skills. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation.

Students who successfully complete the BLS Course online (including achieving a score of 84% or higher on the course exam) and the hands-on session will receive a BLS Provider course completion card (eCard), valid for two years.

AHA BLS Provider

Course Cost: $70

This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Infant, child and adult guidelines are included.

This course is the required CPR/AED training for ANYONE in the healthcare field. (Ex. EMTs, nurses, dental assistants, doctors & more all need this course)

NOTE: You are required to have the current 2020 AHA manual with you in class. You may either obtain it on your own or purchase it through HealthPro.

Want to obtain a First Aid certification while attending BLS? Add on First Aid to your class today! First Aid will be in 2 parts: Part 1 online, Part 2 is completed in our Instructor-led skills station (approximately 15 minute skills session). Once you register for the course, we will send you your online access code. Please bring certificate of completion to your BLS class with you.

AHA BLS Renewal

Course Cost: $60

The AHA has added a BLS Renewal Course option for BLS providers to complete BLS training and receive a BLS Provider course completion card. The BLS Renewal Course is a video-based, instructor-led course that features accelerated content. It is designed specifically for providers with a current (not-expired) BLS Provider course completion card and allows for time efficiency while teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills in both in-facility and prehospital settings.

Must have the 2020 manual with you in class.

AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid (In-Class Course)

Course Cost: $95 - Materials Included

CPR/AED
This course is designed for anyone wishing to learn CPR/AED for adult, child and infant. It is the certification required for many professionals to include, but is not limited to: teachers, personal trainers, child care workers, foster parents, coaches, and construction and lay-workers. Certification is good for two years.

First Aid
Included in the course is an interactive video covering: First aid basics- Medical emergencies, Injury emergencies, and Environmental emergencies. First Aid instruction includes: bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few.

Heartsaver CPR AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you CPR, AED and choking knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card.

Heartsaver First Aid Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. Once you begin the course, you’ll have access to the online lessons, videos, manuals and other resources for 2 years! You can start and stop the course at your convenience until you have finished it at your own pace.

CPR SKILLS instruction includes high-quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask.

FIRST AID SKILLS instruction includes use of EPI-Pen, Bandaging,Assessing the Victim and successful removal of contaminated gloves (mock).
